A great reminder from Seth Godin about making sure everyone involved in a project offers their ideas at the start, not just before it goes live!
It’s the usual entertaining stuff from Seth, although I don’t think we can take his advice literally and go as far as asking clients to sign a change-request waiver if they don’t engage at the start of the project! However, new ways of not scuppering plans at the last minute are always worth considering…

We’ve recently enhanced the site we created for 11KBW barrister chambers with the addition of a comprehensive new podcast section.
The Podcasts cover the numerous conferences and seminars 11KBW speak at over the year and are fully by The Solicitors Regulation Authority which means any Barristers downloading and listening to the podcasts can claim Continued Professional Development (CPD) points when listening.
As well producing the podcasts themselves we built an admin system that allows new podcasts to be uploaded by the client, feedback received and tracking of all users so CPD points can be appropriately awarded.

We recently launched a microsite for Ideal Standard International’s presence at the ISH 2011 trade show in Frankfurt. A hugely important event for the company where they relaunched their brands and showcased a number of exciting new products.
The site was rolled out in quick phases to support the build up, during and post show communications. We also setup and managed Facebook and Twitter presences to add live updates and breaking news as the event unfolded.

It’s always great when a client comes back asking for new work so we were delighted when high end architecture and interior design specialists Minale + Minale asked us to give the site we created for them a couple of years ago a refresh.
A look and feel facelift plus new integrated wordpress functionality that allows the guys to give more timely updates on their activity and latest projects help bring their digital presence bang up to date.

It’s nice to be-able to kick off the new site and blog with news of our most recent piece of work launching; Ideal Standard’s Czech website. A brand shiny new web presence for the bathroom design and manufacturer.
The site is a relatively simple phase 1 launch and is built on our Nest content management system and features a product highlight catalogue, showroom lookup, news and brochure downloads.
This work is a pre-cursor to a much larger project across Europe dropping in the summer so watch this space.
Oh and for the record content entry in Czech can fry the brain just a little!
